Happy 1st Day of Summer (Home Tour)!

I thought we could celebrate this momentous day (a day we've been waiting longing for ALL WINTER) with a little house tour. I've teamed up with 22 other bloggers to share our summer-time decorating.
We live in a 1927 Dutch Colonial by the sea in Massachusetts. So summer fun and the beach are never far from our thoughts or decorating choices.
The hydrangeas are starting to turn blue and we're finishing up our sunroom, just in time to enjoy the beautiful gardens in our back yard. I fell in love with this moon gate when we saw our home for the very first time.

Blue shutters and door are reminders of the ocean.
Poppy, our dog, enjoys the view from our front steps.
Inside, has a coastal feel too! A hand made driftwood boat, sea glass, and mason jars adorn our mantel.
Beckons of Cowes sailing photographs:
Fun and playful touches in Conor's room:
Soft sea glass tones and shells fill our bedroom:
We plan to savor many moments in the summer sun at the beach and on our back deck sipping lemonade.
