I don't know if anyone else on Hometalk has got the knitting bug, but we are currently in winter and it is pretty cold her in the mountains in New South Wales. I started knitting socks and now I cannot stop! Last year it was scarves! LOL!
Latest Funky Socks knit in Schoppel Crazy Zauberball yarn colour 1153. Knit on 2 circular needles.
Sock in colour change yarn - lime green through to dark green and pale lilac. Photo does not do it justice.
Sock for hubby
This is knit on two straight needles and the pattern is waffle stitch from the book - Knit Your Socks on Straights. The other side of this sock has a seam that runs from toe to cuff on the outer edge of the foot
Lace knit sock - leaf pattern from a pattern by Linda Lehman - can be found on Ravelry or Etsy. Knit on two circular needles.
Ankle socks from leftover sock yarn from three other pairs of socks.
Knit from Regia Hand Dyed Effect sock yarn.
Another Regia Hand Dyed Effect sock
Patons Patonyle yarn - 4ply self patterning wool and nylon mix
This colourful yarn came on a skein and had to be wound into a ball for use. Not sure what the yarn brand is but it is 80% wool and 20% nylon.

@Gina Bosman- Gearin Thanks so much for your kind comments. One thing to bear in mind is use stocking stitch for colour change yarns if you can and save your fancy patterns for plain yarn. The reason is that any lacy patterns tend to get lost in the colour change yarn. Good luck. I knit my cuff down to the toe and use the Kitchener Stitch to close the toe of the sock. You can also learn to knit from toe up to cuff - that way you can avoid doing the Kitchener Stitch. Do post when you have completed your first sock!
