Our Summer Garden and How We Keep the Deer Out

We decided to do a traditional row garden rather than raised beds this year to help manage the amount of water the garden gets. Our raised beds seemed to get over saturated when we had a lot of rain or extremely dry when we didn't causing our veggies to not do well. I still have a lot to learn when it comes to the soil.
We did keep one 8'x4' raised bed and moved it behind our cabin, closer to the kitchen. We are using it for herbs, tomatoes and onions.
Sunflowers are my favorite flowers, so we plant a large section of them every year. This year we planted them along the outed edge of the garden along the rows of corn.
