We rent a small apartment with very little natural light and a living room that's painted a not so pretty brown. Unfortunately that's the only room that gets enough light to take my photos for my blog. That's when I decided to make my own backdrop to match the background on my blog!
Here's the finished product.
We used 2x4s and simply nailed them to two more supports.
All propped up against the wall on our front porch.
To get the weathered look, I started by staining it. I used Minwax's Dark Walnut.
I then used some white and light grey paint to achieve a white washed look. Make sure your brush doesn't have a lot of paint on it and apply it lightly.
