This confetti popper is a great way to recycle an empty water bottle, use up some construction paper scraps and let the kids have fun. You don't need a lot of supplies and the fun the kids {and adults will have} is a plus!
If you look to the right of my little guy you'll see the fine confetti as the wind takes it away. This is best to do outside as you will have a bit of a mess!
Adults will want to cut down the water bottle so the kiddos don't get hurt but then the kids can cover the edge with some washi tape and move on to the next step.
Buy standard balloons (not the kind used to make balloon animals ~ those are too small and you need a larger bulb portion and a stronger balloon in general). Snug up the base of balloon all the way to the lip of the water bottle.
Cut up some construction paper and add to the balloon and let the fun begin!
