Stripping and Refinishing Furniture the Easy Way

Easy
I have had a deep fear of stripping and refinishing anything. I thought that if I stripped a piece of furniture I would somehow destroy it and it would end up by the curb and then, in the case of the dining room table, I would have to convince the kids that the card table was indeed a proper eating table. I am so glad I decided to take a go out it. All it took was the right products and the proper technique. It wasn't hard at all!
This is my dining room table after. I couldn't be happier with it but now the chairs and china closet look really bad!
Here is the before. The table had darkened over time and had so many scratches, scrapes, marks and dents in it that the only way I served guests was if I had a tablecloth covering it.
These are the 3 products and the tool that I used to transform my table from hideous to fabulous!
Here you have the Before and After ~ what a difference.
