Window seat

Woodbridge Environmental Tiptophouse.com on Jul 01, 2014leave the bottom open. You can frame out over the top spanning the space, then install the seat on that. Leaving the bottom open will still allow air to flow around the heater keeping the place warm. As long as you have at least 12 inches of air space from the top of the heater to the bottom of your seat, you will be fine. You can decorate the front with a open metal screening to make it look as though it is a solid type of front. Make removable panels that can be taken off for cleaning behind that area. Magnets for kitchen cabinet doors work well for this.Helpful Reply

Valerie on Jul 04, 2014I like the suggestion made by Woodbridge Environmental. Perhaps you could use some (removable) decorative lattice panels for the front, or add some pretty storage bins which could be taken away during the winter months when the heater is in use.Helpful Reply
