My DIY Farmhouse Table

I asked for power tools one Christmas and got them. And then didn't use them for a year and a half! Power tools can be intimidating! But I finally learned how to use them and built a farmhouse table. It's the perfect desk/workspace for my office. A solid wood, functional, and pretty table for around $100!
Having never built anything from wood before, I chose a relatively easy, beginner project.
I learned a lot along the way and I think I found a new hobby! And where could you buy a solid wood farmhouse table for less than $100?
I stained and painted the finish of the table to give it a worn and loved appearance - like it's been around for decades.
It serves my purposes perfectly. It's large enough to be my desk and work space and looks great, too. I can't believe I made it!

My daughter loves power tools but as for me I have never used them. Maybe someday I will. I applaud you. Your project looks great. Wishing you many more to come.

That looks nice! If I was building one for myself I probably would not had the patience for the details you put into it. Well done, I think I will attempt to slow down and put an office desk together in this manner. Lord knows I have the arsenal of tools.
