July in Vermont is high summer. The gardens are full of color and weeds! The humidity increase each day and often the nights are hot and humid. We are rewarded with color in the gardens and fresh produce to be harvested. It's been a very good year for strawberries!
My gardens may need weeding but the flowers are bursting with color.
It's been a fantastic year for strawberries. Nothing better than heading out each morning to pick your own strawberries!
The garlic is growing and it's time to cut the scapes! Can't wait to make some garlic scape pesto or maybe cook up some garlic scape scampi!
Beans are coming along and the first appearance of baby Japanese Beetles.
Time for our friendly farmer to come cut the field for hay!
