HOW TO MAKE SONG LYRIC WALL ART ON DROP CLOTH CANVAS

I've been on a quest to create inexpensive ways to decorate the walls. I recently made some fabric wall art panels to hang in the guest room, which I thought were pretty fun. It got me thinking about other ways I could use fabric to decorate. And since I've also been wanting to try incorporating painters canvas into a home project, I put those two inspirations together and came up with creating this song lyric wall art on painters canvas.
The song I picked? Bruce Springsteen's Born To Run. I have a very long explanation of my song inspiration. I won't bore you with it here, but you can read about that and get the full tutorial on my blog post (link at bottom).

I simply used polycrylic to prime the canvas. Priming helps the paint not be absorbed into the canvas.
I used a paint pen to write and I used chalk to create guidelines because I can't write a straight line if my life depended on it.
Then I used some wooden dowels on the ends to make it look like a large scroll and I used twine to hang this baby.
It's also a great way to place inspirational quotes in the home or even a small prayer.
