Potted Herb Plants

Easy
After fighting the deer for too many years, the herbs are now in pots up on the veranda. Herbs grow very well in containers and by having them near the kitchen door they are so easy to use. They no longer get forgotten. Most nurseries carry a large selection of herb plants, something for everyone. Grow some in the sun, others in the shade. It's generally best not to let your herbs go to seed until the season is almost over, but who can resist the pretty blooms on chives.
It's important to use your herbs regularly, the constant snipping and clipping will keep your plants bushy and productive.
