July 4th Ambiance in the Indoor Garden

Mr. Moon-In-The-Man, pictured here (in the first image of this post, standing in the succulent garden that I have in my kitchen) is happy to have guests visit him on this rainy, hurricane Arthur threatened Fourth of July.
He is welcoming Ma Liberty and her daughter, who are flanking him in this image. Or should I say they are welcoming him, for they were guests here during 2013's Fourth of July, and you may recognize their faces from a post I wrote about them at that time. (The aforementioned entry can be found on HT @ http://www.hometalk.com/diy/grow/succulents/fourth-of-july-in-my-succulent-indoor-garden-1723486.)
This is not the first time an Uncle Sam has visited my garden; last year his identical sibling visited me and played the drums! (He has come again this year and can be seen in the picture below).
You may recognize Sam playing the drums from last year's HT July 4th post, but he was also featured on Blogger in a post about the Half-Year @ http://www.thelastleafgardener.com/2013/07/happy-12-year-from-uncle-sam-me.html.
It's nice to have their whimsical faces to cheer me up, for I have been going through a rough time (ever since my last entry this past June here on HT), a time someone referred to tritely (but most sincerely) as "a perfect storm."
The other guests (seen in the images below) are spending their first Fourth of July in New York City.
I am sorry the weather is so awful for them on their first visit to New York City, and I'm also sorry that they will have to listen to coverage of the Macy's Fireworks on the radio instead of seeing photo-ops of them taken by yours truly, for I will not be going this year!
In any event, that's the news on my Fourth of July. What will you be doing, dear reader?
