Sophisticated Grey Painted Lady Dresser

I bought a whole dresser set off of Craigeslist for a really good price. I knew that it wasn't a high quality piece, laminate top, fake wood grain, but I saw the detail and the potential it had, and knew it would look great painted. I feel like anything can be redeemed with a little paint and TLC.
The AFTER
The BEFORE It really looks pretty ugly up close, but I was convinced that a little paint was going to work magic.
Hard to believe this is the same dresser. I am so in love with it now!

The drawers are painted a dark French linen color I mixed up with some Annie Sloan chalk paint and the body is a lighter French linen.
The top is dark French linen and the drawer are trimmed out in Old white ASCP and I use clear wax to finish it off.
I did a dry brush technique on the handles with Old white ASCP
I love how all the different layers of paint pop through on the detail
Now I need to paint the longer lower dresser and nightstand that match this dresser!

any secrets you learned during this project ? I’ve never painted furniture.
