Simple Spa-Style Soap Tin

Sometimes the best part of a gift can be the packaging and presentation. So when you're giving a small gift that practical and simple, it's worth it to spend some time using beautiful packaging materials. Here's how.
For this gift I am wrapping up some high-quality organic hand-made soaps. I'm going to package each one of them individually in parchment paper and tie them with bakery twine. Then I'm adding a simple retail tag with a hand-written label to identify the type of soap.
Already they look quite pretty and could be given away individually just like this.
But a set of three of anything is perfect and looks attractive on display. So I took three of the parchment-wrapped soaps and stacked them into a clear cellophane bag and tied it with a co-ordinating woven ribbon, keeping with the simple black and white theme.
Any tiny embellishment makes a nice finishing touch. Try to keep it tied to the colour scheme or theme of your gift.
Finally, I added a chalkboard label to a simple small tin which could be displayed on a coutertop or the ledge of a bath, and still be both pretty and useful once the contents have been used.
