How to remove old "water based" concrete stain

We have areas on our driveway covered with H&C "water based" concrete stain. Hoping someone can suggest how to remove this finish.

I think if you use a solution of Myriatic Acid (cannot seem to spell it correctly) and water, it will come up. The acid could eat your tennis shoes or your skin or pets or babies - be careful and keep the hose handy if you need to wash it away. I imagine 1/3 acid to 2/3 water will tell you if its going to do a great job or whether you need to adjust the portions. It will kill

Unfortunately, myriatic acid did not work previously. Will give it another chance.
