Carolyn Faye Blizzard Lanier on Jul 11, 2014If you can't redo the whole floor right now, put another layer of plywood to build it up to the right height, try to find tiles that match and take the ones out that are half tiles around the edges and put some more grout in between the new tiles, if the grout don't match the old grout, Lowe's has some grout paint so you can paint all the grout, Good Luck, pictures after you finish…Helpful Reply

Jeanette S on Jul 12, 2014You can buy think plywood to level this...if it is too thick, go to a hobby store and buy some thin craft woods. Why not take up a few more tiles and put in a "permanent rug" in front of the vanity? You would be limited only by your imagination! That way, if the grout color is a bit off, it will look like you planned it! In fact, this rug could be in a more colorful pattern and you could put in a different color grout if you desire! We want to see pictures. (When finishing off, molding is great!)Helpful Reply

Cyndi Moore Tippett on Jul 12, 2014Put a piece of wood to level the vanity and then buy a decorative tile to fill in the gaps. They make beautiful tiles as small as 1 x 1's. They are meshed together on the back but you can separate them to use as is or you can make your own pattern. With the old tile being a neutral color it shoul be easy to match tiles. Good luck....Helpful Reply

Moxie on Jul 13, 2014I would put some duct tape over the plywood subfloor joints; fill the depression with self-leveling Ardex and then faux paint the cementiouse like fill to look like your tile and grout. It will be as easy to remove later as the tile more or less but would hide it for now.Helpful Reply
