Gini on Jul 13, 2014It all depends on where you live. If you live way out in the country, you can ask one of your neighbors to bring over his .22 ..if you get my drift. If that scares or horrifies you, I have heard that all small animals hate the scent of cedar, so you could put cedar chips around your yard and see if they go away. If the mama has just had babies, they are pretty much your guests for a while. We had groundhogs living under our hollow cement porch. We noticed that during the day, they would leave and go who knows where, returning at dusk. So, my husband mixed up some quick drying cement and poured a lot of it under the porch and in some of the holes they dug. The cement closed up the gap under the porch, and the critters did not have enough room to squeeze under, so they did move a little further down the road. That was 2 summers ago, and we have not seen them on our property since. Of course now that I said that, there will be 6 of them in my yard tomorrow!Helpful Reply
