Hydrangeas Along the Fenceline

It was my dream to own a home with hydrangeas along a fenceline. When we found our dream home, it didn't come with the hydrangea dream. What's a girl to do? Plant hydrangeas of course!
This is their third summer and they are finally starting to grow and fill in. The blooms are beautiful purple and blue. Someone told me that there is a paint color called "hydrangea blue" and I believe it. It's the most beautiful blue I've ever seen.
The fenceline faces East, and gets sun for the first half of the day. They seem to like it there!
Want to see the before pictures and more of our hydrangeas? Click on the link and stop by to say hello!

White Oak Studio Designs on Jul 16, 2014Love your hydrangeas against the fence they are so pretty to look at. I have a long row of naïve oak leaf hydrangeas along the back of our ranch home and vines of climbing hydrangeas in two places - climbers start out slow so I am still waiting for blooms (it's been about 6 to 8 years!) I hope to learn to propagate my native oak leaf hydrangeas so I can make more of them.
