I've been working on creating a gallery wall in our entry for a few weeks and made this sea star plaque to fill in one of the gaps I've been having trouble finding something for.
I bought some sisal rope and used other materials I had on hand to make the plaque.
After finishing the project I didn't love how it turned out so I used some black paint to fix it!
Even though I wasn't sure whether painting a sea star black would work, I love the way it fits into the gallery wall now. I'm thinking about how I can fit another one into the wall or somewhere else in the house.
