DIY Flower Chandelier
What do you do with a two dollar chandelier you found at a Church Bazaar? You turn it into a flower chandelier for your yard. With some spray paint and glue bought at a home improvement store, and a couple of bucks worth of annuals, I was able to repurpose this item into fun outdoor decor. Due to the watering needed on a daily basis, next year I will most likely use succulents, so that I don't have to worry about this baby so much.
Here's how she looks all done up!
Using some leftover globes from an old lighting fixture we updated, I glued them to them chandelier cups. Let dry for 24 hours.
My handy dandy last minute trick for keeping the chandy stabilized so the globed would dry properly? I took off the bottom and nested it in a bowl.
A little white spray paint later (The black floor lamp with ripped out wiring I've had for a couple years also)
So beautiful, right? I love this whimsical addition!
It's such a pleasure being greeted by this colorful display as I leave the house each morning. I hope when I try succulents next season I can make it look just as cheery!

This is one of the most ADORABLE re-purpose projects I have seen in a long time.
I can only imagine the different color combinations...change for every holidays!!

What about drainage for the plants? Did you just use pebbles at the bottom so the plants don’t sit in water?
