Tiered Cake Stand Studio Organizer

Using tin cans from the recycling bin and a couple trays and a revolving cake rack, I created the perfect studio storage solution.
I have a galvanized tiered rack that I bought and loved...but, greedy me, I wanted more. I had purchased a metal cake stand from the Salvation Army. Originally I thought I would give it with a cake as a gift but it was pretty big and heavy. After tripping over it in the garage for a couple months, inspiration hit! I kept the rotating bottom and sent the cake cover to the thrift store. Then I raided the recycling bin for cans.
A coat of spray paint and some bits and pieces came together to put my favorite supplies at my fingertips.
Tin cans are almost unrecognizable after their makeover.
Head over to our blog for more details...Before you know it, you will be planning your menus based on what cans you need....
