Hornet by Bart's Nuts and Bolts
by
Kelly
(IC: homeowner)
Industrial flowers by Randy and me.
The hornet body is made of a railroad spike which was heated and bent.
The wings are made from galvanized metal mesh security sheeting.
The eyes from bolt nuts.
The legs from flooring nails.
I added a light paint for detail.
Put stripes on his back.
Blackened his wings.
Painted his eyes and antennas black and his face orange.
And mounted him on one of the Industrial flowers and secured him with tie wire.
Enjoyed the project?
