What is up with this bean plant?

Douglas Hunt on Jul 24, 2014Albinism happens in plants, just as it does in animals. Your bean can't make chlorophyll, so would starve on its own, but it is connected to the root system of the other beans, and is stealing nutrition from them. Judy on Jul 25, 2014It never ceases to amaze me the things plants will do. Some of the convoluted shapes of the produce from my veggie garden over the years still has me laughing when I think of them. Looks like you have some healthy bean plants with a single white stem of leaves. Sort of like my friend with a white streak in her black hair....lolHelpful Reply
