Plum And Apple Jam

Last week I found great, big plums at the grocery store and I immediately thought about making plum Jam. So I bought about 2.2lb which is one kilogram and brought the beauties home.
I tried to explain that this fruit is not for us to eat because I am planning to turn it into jam, and I need it to ripe and get a bit softer but no one took me seriously. Maya and her daddy ate more than half of the plums behind my back somehow.
This morning I looked at the few that remained and decided there is still hope.
So I started peeling them. The apple was a breakfast leftover, so I decided to throw it in with the plums. How bad can it be?
After peeling the apple as well, I diced the fruit into small pieces.
And measured it. I ended up with about 550g of fruit. Hooray!
