Create A Huge Gallery Wall {Without Spending a Fortune}

Easy
Paint existing frames and mats to spend less and create cohesion.
After arranging everything on the floor first, I used the contractor roll to cut out templates of each frame and labeled each one.
Once I decided which frames to use, I painted all mats with Valspar White Paint + Primer. I then sprayed any frames that weren't already silver with Chase Champion Silver spray paint.
I then used the templates I cut to arrange everything on the wall. This was helpful as it's tough to judge proportion, flow, etc. on the floor.
Start hanging...my favorite new tool is the Hang & Level picture hanging tool from Under the Roof Decorating (available on Amazon.) Best investment ever. I used to DREAD hanging anything before I found this wonderful tool.
Once everything is hung, step back and make sure everything has been leveled and that you are happy with the balance.
This is a great way to display photos, special memories, invitations, maps of where you've been and quotes you love.
