How To Make A Lamp Out Of A Thermos

I'm sort of addicted to buying fun looking vintage thermoses. I use quite a few of them in my home decor, but I've "branched" out by making one into a lamp. Get it..branched out..outdoors. OK, bad pun.
I had fun turning this one into a lamp though and it's super easy to do it with the Make-A-Lamp kit I found at the hardware store.
Supplies needed:
Thermos
Make-A-Lamp kit
3/8" rubber grommet
Drill with 3/8" drill bit
Safety glasses
DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS CAN BE FOUND ON THE BLOG.

Some of my other thermoses. See they come in all shapes, sizes and patterns!!!

My Dad died in 2002 and I've been looking for something to do with his coffee thermos. Thank you.
