Learn how to make an easy custom hanging lampshade for your home for less than $25.
This is what I was used to staring at everyday. I needed a quick and cheap solution to cover it up. But since I was living in a rental, I couldn't justify the expense of buying a new lamp shade for it.
I used my Cricut Expression Machine to cut out this design out to give the shade more dimension. I am in love with this color teal blue lately and picked this color to tie in other elements of my home to bring it all together.

Beautiful and a great economical idea! When I first looked at the photo, I thought it was perforated metal that is used to cover old radiators. Your method is wonderful and much lighter.... great job!
