Twine Wrapped Clip Holder

I actually wasn’t sure what to call this project. It’s a piece of wood with twine wrapped around it and paper clips. Let’s go with Twine Wrapped Clip Holder.
Now that I’m working full time and crafting at night and on the weekends I really need to be on top of my game. There’s no time to slack off because I’m uninspired. I wanted to make a small inspiration board that would take up too much space. I found the perfect solution with this piece of wood. I can hang it anywhere, even on the edge of shelf.
The wrapping actually didn’t take that long. I cut workable lengths of string and wrapped so I could move faster than if I wrapped from the original spool A dab of glue on the back of the wood kept the ends in place.
Once I was done wrapping I decided to use paperclips on my board. The silver paper clips didn’t go with the peach tones so I colored the clips with different shades of gold Sharpie. Simply glue the paperclips to the back side of the wrapped wood.
Hang up some pretty inspirational pieces, notes, memos etc.

Is it easy to open the paper clips to use them?

@Jenny Fischer - they're a little delicate but not that difficult to open. You could use clothes pins instead. They would be easier to clip things.
