Why Artificial Lawns Are Starting to Replace Natural Grass

Now that summertime is finally here, if you take a slow, leisurely walk through your neighborhood, you will probably be greeted with a similar sight, no matter where in the U.S. you reside; a front garden or driveway area featuring an exceptionally well-manicured and perfect-looking lawn. It might be the garden of a single home, or it could be row upon row of houses that feature gloriously green grass. What you might not know, what your neighbors might be keeping from you, is how this is possible. After all, to have a stunningly jade lawn that looks unfailingly sumptuous all year round, the homeowner has got to be a certified gardening genius with too much time on his or her hands, right? Or do they have a trick up their green sleeves?
Perhaps the secret to their success is that they've given up on natural grass and chosen a synthetic grass installation instead. In fact, you may be surprised to hear how popular and prevalent the installation of faux grass products have become all over the world, especially in areas that suffer from mass water shortages, or where the weather is so extreme that grass doesn't have much of an opportunity to grow into something attention-grabbing before it starts to dry up, go yellow and perish.
Artificial grass is used for many different commercial applications, such as communal parks, public sidewalks, professional golf courses and putting greens, children's playgrounds, and also for apartment complexes, rooftop gardens at bars and cafés, and high school sports fields. And when it comes to household applications, synthetic lawns can be adopted for the following uses:

• Patios, decks and gazebos

• Pet runs

• Front garden and backyard landscaping

• Mini backyard playground areas

• Indoor golf putting greens

• Outdoor golf putting greens

• Apartment rooftop gardens

• Driveways
A significant benefit that manmade grass products posses over their natural counterparts is the fact that, over time, a genuine lawn tends to require different kinds of chemical products to help encourage and retain the area's eye-catching splendor. Whether it's through the use of weed killers, pesticides, insecticides or any other chemical product, not only are you spending money repeatedly buying these items, but have you ever wondered how harmful they can be to your family, friends and pets? However, with non-natural turf, your loved ones can be confident that their front garden or backyard won't prove harmful to their health and overall well-being.
Another obvious benefit to owning a front garden or backyard that possesses artificial grass is that the area does not need to be maintained as often as it would if you had real grass, which finally means no more countless hours under the scorching sun having to mow or water the lawn. And since you won't have to spend time on a day-to-day basis watering your grass, this means you will save money on your utility bills, which is always great news to hear!
Think about all the backbreakingly exhausting times that you spent carrying out garden-related chores, such as weeding, seeding and edging. In addition, consider the time, money and effort that goes into keeping your lawn looking luscious when you have real grass and yet, with a synthetic turf installation, the hard work is already done for you. This leaves you with more time to put up your feet, relax, and simply enjoy the beautiful scenery that's right in front of you.

So, do you have to put down any lining? You know Colorado soil is full of clay, well it is where I am. I've never had a lawn, just weeds because I hate lawn work. Also, do you have any idea about the price per yard or foot?
