Lightened Up Home Reveal
This wall between the kitchen and dining room was removed leaving a half wall or knee wall. This gives the room an open concept feeling!
We trimmed out the wall with molding to give it architectural detail. We removed the upper cabinets and added open shelves from Ballard Designs. Bead board above the subway tile was hung horizontally to give it even more interest. Bead board is painted Benjamin Moore's Revere Pewter and all the trim is BM White Dove.

We also added large crown molding and painted the living room and dining room also with BM Revere Pewter. Now everything looks open, light and airy giving us the feeling of an open floor plan!
