Ashley Elizabeth on Aug 04, 2014Lavatera, I've grown it from seed many times. Usually this shade of rose but there are sometimes white seeds mixed in. Save some seeds when it goes to seed and save it to sow on the ground next spring. I've started it early in the house before, only to have it peter out by the beginning of August. It is from the mallow familyHelpful Reply

Shirley on Aug 04, 2014Thanks. I Googled mallow and had decided that was probably correct. Have to do that for Lavatera too. Now I will have to save some seeds. It is a pretty little flower.Helpful Reply
