What is a good paint color for a large master bath?

Carla Meisberger Vaught on Aug 06, 2014If you are wanting the bathroom to "appear" smaller, then you would want to go with a darker color. Dark paint makes rooms appear smaller. If you like the large look of the room, go with light paints. With those colors, I think you have a range of choices! White, grey and pale sand are all neutral colors, so they go with many other shades. You could use any shades of beige, browns, greys, blues. And if you wanted to be a little more quirky, even shades of lavender would work. I hope this helps some. :)Helpful Reply

Michelle Thompson on Aug 06, 2014First I would ask, what colours you are using in the master bedroom. Pick one of those colours then go lighter or darker depending on the size of the bath. Also, the finish of the paint ie; flat, eggshell, satin etc etc makes a huge difference also.Helpful Reply

Diana Deiley on Feb 09, 2016I like Ancient Marble by Sherwin Williams. It's a soft green, which will go well with accents of white. There's also a color called Sea Salt in the blue family. Sundrenched Sand is a soft cream color by Color Place at WalMart. I have a small bathroom, so large is a good thing! Embrace all the extra space.Helpful Reply
