New Hometalk Buddy. Up Early and Busy.

A few weeks ago, I mentioned I had reached the point I could not lift and care for potted plants and was ready to get rid of a bunch of flower pots! I received a reply from Shelia D. who lives close who said she would be glad to take them. Well, with our busy schedules, we were finally able to schedule her coming by to pick them up! What a treat it was to meet this sweet lady! Hubby helped us load up her car and we all had a great visit!
Not surprising, Shelia and I like the same things and this will definitely not be our last visit. We will be sharing plants, her beautiful birdhouses (she promised me one!! YEAH!) and even a road trip when the weather cools to do some Hometalk junking!
We had a good laugh when we pondered taking a photo...this is an early morning meeting and neither of us were prissy enough to be photographed...but who could pass up the chance to memorialize this delightful moment!
Sheila, thank you for contacting me and I look forward to enjoying your company again!

Why don't all the messages and comments come thru?? There are many times I try to finish reading "comments" and we don't get all...........

There is a lot i don't know about this page, but I know this...notice at the right just above comments and it will say "displaying x number of xx comments" and "see all comments". If you check on "see all comments" they will come up. Also, if you click on someone's name, you can message them...I think that you MAY have to be following them...not sure! You will learn to love these folks!
