My husband and I just took a rambling road trip through the backroads of Lancaster County in Pennsylvania. Stopping along the way at roadside stands and small shops, we happened upon some wonderful ideas for the garden. Let me share them with you!
This is sheer genius - an old dresser or sideboard with the drawers removed, a plywood shelf and exterior paint! Cut a hole for a vintage dishpan and you have a wonderful, easy-to-make potting bench!
I never get tired of seeing plantings in vintage kitchen and laundry items!
These scrap wood & tin birdhouses looked so bright and cheery in a perennial flower border filled with coneflowers and Black-eyed Susans! Love the cabinet knobs and handles as perches too!
This sweet little rickety chair was converted into a planter complete with a chamber pot!
Enjoyed the project?
