I picked up this little cabinet from Craigslist a few weeks ago. I knew it was perfect for this room, since the room is small. I knew that a larger buffet would overpower the room.
I first removed the original knobs and primed this piece using Zinsser 123 water based primer. I applied two coats with a sponge roller.
After applying the primer, I then used Behr Wheat grass, color matched to Glidden in a satin finish. I love the color. I then applied to coats of Minwax water based polycrylic.
I changed out the hardware, using medium sized crystal hardware from The Home Depot.
Here is the progress of the room so far. I am so in love with this updated color!
