Has anyone on here made a woven branch or twig fence?

Does anyone on here have any tips on how to make a woven fence panel from saplings, branches and twigs and so on? We are going to make an open compost bay and have corrugated iron for the back and sides, but want to use two bays or three bays to make a divider. We want to use saplings and branches and weave them basket style into a sort of 1m x 1m fence panel. The weaving is going OK but what do you use to tie or fix the frame work for your weaving?

I used twine to hold mine together...It's holding up beautifully after a full summer of use

We had a friend make a fence out of small branches (twigs) and he used a very fine wire to hold it together. It was beautiful! Be sure and post photos!
