Wooden Bowl Organizer

Among my stash of thrifted pieces, I had a wooden bowl and a broken magazine holder. Together with just a little paint, they became a pretty little organizer!
I started by sawing the bowl in half and painting each piece with a light coat of white chalk paint.
After painting some white on the salvaged piece of wood from an old, worn-out magazine holder, and adding 2 red stripes that would go behind each bowl half, I spread some wood glue on the back of each bowl and then nailed them onto the wood from the back.
After drying, I added a few flowers to snap some photos. But my plan for this repurposed piece is that it will hold some small, pretty toiletries in a bathroom.
