Have one of these plants in the backyard. It's not blooming yet, but they are HUGE blossoms every year. (Ours wasn't native) -

And to think people say they won't plant natives because they "look like weeds"! -

I didnt plant this, its just there ! They like a lot of water and the ditch is a good place for it.
