Guest Bath Makeover

My challenge was to cover up "faux" plaster stones in my guest bath. Rather then sand down, I decided to paint them a lighter color. To my surprise the new stones look more authentic then the original one's I painted a few years back. Come see more photos and details of the project at http://topthistopthat.blogspot.com/2012/05/b...

    Laura,

As always....you inspire! I love the way you painted over the stones. And the window adds the perfect touch!

Excellent job Laura!! Very subtle but still visible!! This is "funny" because I did the EXACT same thing - faux painted a LARGE stone wall in my bedroom. Did you use full strength paint when you covered over the original or did you water it down and do more of a whitewash effect? You probably address that in your blog so I'll go read it. Anyway, your re-do looks fantastic!!!

Thanks Teri. I was'nt quite sure if painting over the faux stones would do it for me, but luckily it did!
