Improving your home's appeal sometime starts with the switches.
Last week I replaced an old dimmer switch and decided to share it because I discovered several great tips.
Primarily, never count on the prior homeowner's workmanship.
After removing the old dimmer switch I found they spliced the wires with masking tape!!
Who knows why but wire nuts are cheap and the gold standard.
Also, I found a dimmer switch by Lutron that works with LEDs, Halogens, Incandescents, and CFLs.
Pretty sweet.
You can totally upgrade your dimmer switches in no time and if you have a question the Lutron Technical Assistances in AWESOME!!
I called them on a Friday night and guess what, they answered.
Check out more tips in my blog post and video tutorial. I know you'll like it.
Cheers,
Jeff
