Fabric Decoupage Desk

This desk was BEAT UP. I fell in love with it at the thrift store though and brought it home with me. I stripped it as best I could and then went in a crazy direction!
I did this redo before I had much experience with anything crafty and I KNOW people will cringe, but this was exactly what one of my customers was looking for.
I kept the top of the desk a natural wood and painted the rest a buttery yellow.
I painted the inside of the drawers a bright blue that coordinated with my fabric.
I worked so hard to keep the fabric pattern intact. It is definitely unique!

This is one of my favorite fabric prints by Richloom. I've made bed pillows, lamp shades, used as trim, but this is a beautiful application for this fabric. Great, I love it!
