Dark brown quartz vs antique brown granite

Woodbridge Environmental Tiptophouse.com on Aug 18, 2014Silestone is a man made product that looks much like stone. Only better. While stone is porous this product is not. It does cost about the same or sometimes even more then natural product. You are also correct about appearance being cracks. Often they are the weakest point on the stone. Oftentimes the fabricator needs to fill the tiny voids with special chemicals that harden just so to prevent stains from getting into the stone damaging its beauty. Once installed however, unless you abuse the counter the stone will not break. But it will require sealing once a year. The man made products simply need cleaning. http://www.silestoneusa.com/colors/?gclid=Cj0KEQjwyMafBRCU7OCRyc2vitsBEiQAKV4H9AQDWTmLI638JgMpT2pWQgNZmTfsVXS9RAZMYatxb9MaAsuA8P8HAQHelpful Reply
