French Styled Cabinet {AKA - "hider of Cable Wires"}

A little bit of a fail at first. This French lettered cabinet turned out pretty well considering! I bought it to hide the cable box and wires from the TV. I had planned to refinish and stain the top, but once I sanded I found...particleboard. Yep. But not to be deterred. I made it "look" like wood anyway. Stop by the blog to find out how!
French grain sack stripes down each side. Distressed to allow the blue underneath to show through. "Wood" stained top.
FreThe top was this??? Who knew?! That didn't stop me from "staining" it to look like wood. See the post linked below for how I did it!!
French styled (and nautical, of course!). Perfect as a cable box, etc, holder.

We removed the back (not shown) so it wouldn't get hot inside with the equipment when the door front is closed.
