Best way to deep clean a basement
-
Donna Byram on Aug 21, 2014Unfortunately there is no easy way to deep clean a basement. Empty out any debris or paneling you are wanting to get rid of. Start at the top and work your way down. Vacuuming up any cob webs or dust build up. If the concrete floors have dirt build up, I would get a scraper and loosen up all the dirt and then vacuum with a shop vacuum. Then I would rent a concrete floor scrubber and clean the floors. Check around at your local Rental Centers for a scrubber. If you are not comfortable renting, then I would do it manually with hot soapy water and a scrub brush with a broom handle. Then rinse with mop.Helpful Reply
