I found a $200 teak serving platter on a popular website for $200 and I thought NO WAY, I can totally make something similar for under $20 and I did just that!
This double tiered serving platter was super easy to make with common craft and hardware store items. Isn't it lovely all loaded up with yummies?! Great for entertaining!
I used food grade mineral oil to finish the surface and bark edges. I did 3 coats on each piece waiting about an hour in between each coat.
Before oiling I sanded and used a wire brush to get any loose pieces off. For more details you can visit my blog. This is a super easy DIY project! I love something super cute AND functional!
