What is growing in my garden?

The Garden Frog with C Renee on Aug 22, 2014Yes it is a tree and it is an Elm. I would dig it out. They are problem trees that have disease and pest problems and you never want a tree growing next to your house. Good luck!Helpful Reply

Myrna Engle on Sep 02, 2014I would keep it because of it's sturdiness and vigor. Never has health issues. But would want it to be 10 feet from a structure due to fast growth and huge mature size.Helpful Reply

Virginia R on Sep 07, 2014I disagree about no disease...we have problems with Dutch Elm Disease in these trees. And you don't want any tree that close to a foundation.Helpful Reply
