Solar Mason Jar Lights

I tried to glue the glass beads onto the mason jar using the recommended glue and they would not stick. I tried other types of glue to no avail. I also tried using a glue gun, however, when I put it out in the elements to see how it would react in the sun, several fell off...grrr...is there a special type of glue stick that will stand up outside in the sun, rain, etc???

Silicone caulk is used for glass.

Bathroom and kitchen silicone sealant will work. I use it when I'm making glass garden globes.
