A garden of upcycled junk? You can have a gorgeous garden, full of color, by using almost all upcycled and found items. http://www.redouxinteriors.com/2012/12/le-top-ten-of-2012/ feature
Make a garden completely out of junk! You won't believe all the elements I used with found items and free to me leftovers.
This wall is made from Garage Door Panels! The decorative "B" was from an old cabinet door.
Check out the post to see how amazing these pots can look. Just use Joint Compound and paint to let these pots naturally age.
My neighbor gave me her children's old changing table/dresser when she moved. The top folds down for the perfect buffet/serving area. I painted the dresser with 100% natural chalk and clay based CeCe Caldwell's paints
The garden smells wonderful as I have climbing Jasmine marking the pathway to my side retreat.
This old Farm table was a free find after someone moved and left it. I painted it with leftover paint. The planks were found on the side of the road. They had been used to hold down a load on a truck. I cleaned them, cut them to size and secured them to the table. They were sealed with a Marine Grade Varathane.
Even my garden got the junk treatment. Junk picked up from the side of the road serves as trellises and supports for my climbing plants.
This vertical garden was featured in Country Living April 2012. I used leftover paint to paint the pallet. I secured it to a fence post. I hung the pots by using a ceramic drill bit and drilled holes in the top of each pot. Secured them to the pallet with screws and bolts.
