I created a welcoming entrance for the door in our garage, since it is our main entryway. This DIY wreath was the focal point.
I created a rosette-embellished wreath for the garage entrance with colors that complement our garage. This wreath is our new welcome home sign at our main entrance.
I started with a basic foam wreath form.
I wrapped the wreath in burlap and secured the end with spray adhesive.
Then I created rosettes to embellish the wreath. I free-form cut out pieces of felt and fabric and stacked them on top of each other.
I secured each stack by stitching a button in the middle. I created a total of eight different rosettes.
I stuck the rosettes to the wreath using spray adhesive.
Lastly, I spray-painted a letter silver and stuck it to the wreath using adhesive velcro.
After the letter was secured, I was done!
I loved how it turned out! I spent about $15 and the project took a total of one hour to complete.
What do you think of our garage entrance? I tried to make it welcoming since it is the main entrance we use.
Enjoyed the project?
