compost bin

this compost bin is made from a basic plastic trash can. Drilling holes for airflow. if you have one with a locking lid, you can roll it on the ground to help the decomposing process. with mine a use a shovel to mix it up.

I didn't, but because they have holes on the bottom, they naturally attract worms in it. You could add worms to start, but back then I noticed that within a couple of days, they already had worms at the bottom.

I tried this, but my plastic got brittle and started breaking off....??? So now have started a regular purchased compost bin. I may try it again.
